Objectives

Educate the public, their employers, governments and associations on the full range of mainstream Complementary Healthcare options, and to accelerate wellness using complementary modalities to:

• Assure prevention through healthy personal habits
• Encourage healing through time-tested healthcare practices and practitioners
• Realize better health at lower costs.

Promote wellness, complementary healthcare modalities and the Members to the public via:

• Centers of influence
• The media
• Related organizations and institutions.

Develop and publish information sources on complementary healthcare modalities and wellness:

• Printed journal – CompWellness™ journal, for the Denver Metro areas (from January 2001).
• Online book – Complementary Healing eGuide™ (1999 -)
• Online journal – Wellness eJournal™ (1999 -)
• Online eLetter – 21st Century Wellness eLetter™ (1999 -)
• Printed Books – the Complementary Healing Guides™ (1997-1999, now online as Complementary Healing eGuide)

Encourage every local organization offering a healthcare benefit to expand to a full spectrum of healthcare offerings

Accomplishments

Published three Complementary Healing Guides

• March 1997– Metro Denver
• October 1997– Boulder County
• June 1998– Metro Denver

1997-1998
Complementary Healing Guides given to all State Legislators and the Governor, cataloged/circulated through Metro Denver and Boulder County libraries, and sold to Tattered Cover and Boulder Bookstores

September 1998
Began writing answers for the Boulder Daily Camera Fit section "Q&A" column

Spring 1999
Launched the first online Complementary Healing eGuide

Spring 1999
Launched the first online Wellness eJournal

Spring 1999
Launched the first online Year 2000 Healthcare eLetter™

February 2000
Converted the 21st Century Wellness eLetter to the first online 21st Century Wellness eLetter
