    Our deepest sympathies go out to all the families and friends of victims in the catastrophic attacks on New York City and the Pentagon. We grieve with all the US and the World.

    We admonish all citizens of this planet to urgently call on their leaders to learn from very recent histories in Israel, Northern Ireland and the former Yugoslavia to see that violence is not a solution to 100s of years of conflict and suffering.
    Escalating the violence - whether by air attacks on "military" targets, military-controlled economic and weapons embargoes, or other military actions - will only escalate terrorism to a global scale. This will, of course, create more attacks on the US by even more devious and disastrous methods.
    In the spirit and experience of Complementary Healthcare Professions around the world that look at the root cause of health problems and illness:   extend this concept to the health of our world.

    To our World Leaders:   please, please immediately come together in a renewed mission of peace to calm the voices of retaliation, to look deep into your hearts and recent world history to understand the deep-seeded roots of hate and distrust, and to search for non-violent solutions to the continuing escalation of violence and terrorism.
